monochromaticity

Today's words to turn into a poem:

lackluster
visceral
aesthete
ardent
zeal
monochromaticity
dilettante

Hopefully I will have one by the end of the day. Need to channel some of this pain.

  1. I worked on a poem with these words. Did you want to post your poem first? Was the effort cathartic? :O) I'll wait for your poem!

  2. Ooh, go ahead with yours. I'm still a little numb, so have had trouble writing. Go for it!

  3. OK--here goes--I hope it makes sense!

She approached the subject with zeal
    Her dilettante efforts were real.
    Her visceral powers, surreal!

She made no lackluster attempt to conceal,
her ardent desire to rob and to steal.
This aesthete was the real deal!

    She'd invisibly take with simplicity,
and blend into the shadows specifically
    because of her monochromaticity.
